CCP won't be providing banking services. Dr.EyjoG has said in his presentation at FanFest that he wants to work with player-run banks instead.
As someone with significant accounts in both banks, I can give you details impartially, though I have helped with some of EBANK's site development as well.
Originally by: Silver Night Yeah, if you look in market discussions, there are at least 2 banks.
There was mbank as well, but it was necro'd, so currently only EBANK and FuryBank.
Originally by: Silver Night EBANK, which seems to be the more trusted one, has a limited number of interest generating accounts. It doe offer accounts where you can just put your money, and they plan (I believe) on expanding the number of interest accounts later.
EBANK is the newer bank, governed by a Board of Directors - a group of 7 of some of the most highly trusted public players in EVE - that have a say in the direction of EBANK. It also has it's own site here and has it's statistics here.
It offers various banking facilities: - 3 accounts (1.5% return Checking, 3% return Savings, 0% Sweep) - Loans (including the possibility of using it as a credit account) - Player to Player out-of-game transfers.
To find out how to use EBANK, see their FAQ here.
Originally by: Silver Night Fury Bank is another, and it has 2 different types of interest accounts. Theres a basic one and a High Interest Account. The basic one I don't think has many limitations, the HIA requires a minimum deposit and you have to give a week warning for withdraws, so more for parking money you won't need in the short term.
FuryBank launched first, and is part of FuryHoldings, a public stock with just over 100b in it. It's significantly higher-risk being only 1 person (FastLearner and his alt FuryBanker), but also offers extremely high (share-beating) returns. FuryBank has no site and its stats are here (see Liabilities as part of the FuryHoldings report)
All banking is done via ingame convo. FuryBank provides a HIA with 7% interest and 1 weeks notice period, plus a lower interest current account.
